The Nets announced today that they will be hosting a Draft workout on Monday in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This will be the first draft workout with Jason Kidd as the newly-minted head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.
They will workout the following players:
Tony Mitchell, PF, North Texas / C.J. Leslie, SF, NC State / Mark Lyons, PG, Arizona / Nurideen Lindsay, G, Rider / Jamal Olasewere, SF, LIU / Keith Rendleman, PF, UNC Wilmington
Mitchell is the "headliner" of the bunch, and by most accounts he's a late first-rounder, falling in the early- to mid-20s. The Nets, as you recall, are picking 22nd.
It's still thought that the Nets are looking for a big to backup Brook Lopez at center.
