Bobby Marks, whose spent his entire working life with the Nets, rising from intern to assistant GM, could be a candidate for the open GM's job in Denver, reports Adrian Wojnarowski. The Raptors wooed Masai Ujiri, the NBA executive of the year, from Denver, leaving the Nugget job open.
"Denver could promote assistant GM Pete D'Alessandro, or look outside for another candidate to replace Ujiri," Woj reported, but Sam Amick suggests that Chris Wallace, who is line for the Kings GM job, wants D'Alessandro to join him there.
With that in mind, Woj included Marks as a possible candidate in Denver. Other top possible candidates among the assistant GM ranks include the Houston Rockets' Gersson Rosas, the Brooklyn Nets' Bobby Marks, the New Orleans Hornets' Tim Connelly, Atlanta Hawks' Wes Wilcox and the Orlando Magic's Scott Perry.
Marks has served under both Rod Thorn and is known as a capologist.
