Bojan Bogdanovic's season is over

Fenerbahce

Bojan Bogdanovic may have played his last game in Europe. The 6'8" shooting guard from Croatia scored 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting in Fenerbahce's loss in the Turkish League playoffs. After failing to make the Euroleague playoff, the first round of the TBL was the Istanbul club's last hope to justify preseason hype and a huge, by European standards, payroll. They fell, 2-0, to Pinar Karsiyaka, in a best-of-three series.

Bogdanovic finished with a 13.2 point per game average in the Turkish League, playing in 29 games. He shot 58 percent from three, 37.5 percent from three and 82.5 percent from the line. His numbers in the Euroleague were higher in general.

Beat writers have reported that Bogdanovic, depending on the source, is either "70 percent" or "90-to-95 percent" likely to join the Nets in the off-season. Billy King has said it's a team goal to bring him over after waiting two years since they drafted him in 2011. Bogdanovic has a buyout, last reported at $2 million, of which the Nets can pay only $570,000. The Nets cannot sign him until July.

Bogdanovic will play with the Croatian national team in the FIBA Europe championship in September.
