The Nets have officially announced that Joe Johnson will sit tonight against the Cavaliers, even as he did practice on Tuesday and told reporters that he "felt great." It was, however, expected that he would miss one of the next two games -- a back-to-back set starting tonight in Cleveland -- and now it appears as if the decision has been made for him to sit tonight, with him likely play at home on Thursday against the Chicago Bulls.
Also of note, Gerald Wallace (sore left foot) will be a game-time call tonight against the Cavs. Wallace has been dealing with soreness in his foot, and despite the pain, he did say that he expects to play on Wednesday night. Still, there is a chance he might sit, with the Nets having a back-to-back set and playing three games over the next four nights.
Injury Update: Joe Johnson (sore left heel) is out tonight against the Cavs... Gerald Wallace (sore left foot) is a game time decision.
