Kris Joseph hasn't donned a Nets uniform yet in the playoffs, but he did get some notice this weeks. On Friday, the 6'7" Syracuse product was named to the second team all-D-League and first team All-Rookie. Joseph played for the Nets affiliate in Springfield late in the year after several stints with the Celtics affiliate in Portland, ME., earlier in the season. Joseph was drafted at #51 in the second round last June but was cut by the Celtics in January. He was traded to the Armor in February. The Nets signed him to a non-guaranteed deal for next year in April.
He averaged 18.6 points and 4.6 rebounds for both the Armor and Maine Red Claws in 27 games. He picked up the pace a bit in Springfield, averaging 19 points in 15 games.
Willie Reed, who was called up by Memphis Grizzlies earlier this month, earned All-NBA D-League Honorable Mention honors. The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 14.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.77 blocked shots a game.
