Times Profiles Section 15 Usher Jerome Dixon

New, comments

For anyone who's been to Barclays Center, one of the most impressive aspects of the experience has nothing to do with the architecture, the food or the wireless access. It's about the staff. If there's a better staff in the NBA, good for that team, but it would be hard to beat the (mostly) kids who deliver quality service every night.

As part of its Section 15 coverage, the Times features Jerome Dixon who regularly works the section in back of the eastern end of the arena. Dixon talks about his training, responsibilities and experiences as an usher. "I work for the guests." he tells the Times' Vijai Singh.
