Brook Lopez sat down with (stood up to) looked down at "Made Man," a mens' style website recently and talked of many things, including the difference between playing in New Jersey and Brooklyn; who are the NBA's most stylish dressers; his best advice on dealing with the ladies; his favorite movie ("Teen Wolf" duh!) and being both a twin and a center.
On the difference between playing on the right bank of the Hudson River and the left bank of the East BRiver, Lopez said the geographical distance may be small, but in terms of fan support and ambiance, it's huge.
Obviously they’re very close in proximity. But it’s crazy, it’s about as far as you can get, really, going from East Rutherford to Brooklyn. Playing in that borough, it’s a completely different atmosphere. We’ve really had our fan base grow a ton, we see guys out there wearing Brooklyn Nets gear, coming up to us and talking about basketball. And on the flip side, they expect a lot from us. And we’re working to live up to expectations.
He was also asked which current NBA player is likely to break Wilt Chamberlain's record of bedding 10,000 women, Lopez proved himself a team player.
Oh, I don’t know. I’m going to go with my guy, Hump. Kris Humphries. I think he’d take that as a compliment.
