Three of Brooklyn Nets final nine games to air on WWOR

NetsDaily

It's baseball season and Nets fans know what that means: finding Nets games on television will be a challenge. YES (Yankees Entertainment and Sports) will choose to broadcast the pin-stripers over the black-and-white on three dates ... starting Wednesday.

Nets games at the Cavaliers Wednesday, vs. the 76ers on April 9 and at the Celtics on April 10 will be broadcast not on YES but on WWOR, aka MY9. Five of the remaining nine games will be broadcast on YES. The ninth, vs. the Bulls Thursday, will air on TNT.

Last season, the Nets were on MY9 for two games, the Knicks game on April 18 and YES2 for the Heat game on April 16. Those were the only conflict games.

Every playoff game is televised nationally. However, the NBA allows local networks to televise first round games only when they are on national cable networks so TNT/ESPN can be televised. Games carried on the ABC broadcast network are always exclusive. So the Nets will either be on YES, My 9 or YES 2 for the first round of the playoffs, depending on when the games are scheduled and what the conflicts are. Second round games and beyond are exclusive to National TV.

The NBA Playoff schedule will be set on the night of April 17.
