"The Association: Brooklyn Nets" is back and in the most intriguing bit, Billy King is seen working the phones at the trade deadline, surrounded by his brain trust of Bobby Marks, Frank Zanin and Gregg Polinsky, the latter the team's directors of player procurement and personnel.
In the most revealing moment, King is caught asking Hawks GM Danny Ferry, "So, odds are you're not going to do our deal?" hearing a "no," then telling Marks, Zanin and Polinsky with a shrug of his shoulders, "Danny said pretty much they're not going to do anything. They're gonna keep him." The conversation was about Josh Smith.
In other segments posted online, NBA cameras follow Tyshawn Taylor home to Hoboken and take a close look at how Brooklyn's hip-hop heritage affects music choices at Barclays Center.
