Keith Bogans will start again Wednesday night when the Nets face the Blazers. Joe Johnson is out vs. Portland and might not play against the Nuggets or Jazz as well. Nets officials, knowing they are in the playoffs and likely will have homecourt advantage in the opening round, are playing for health.
Johnson has had issues over the last month with both his heel and his quad. After not missing a game through the end of February, Johnson has missed five since. The Nets are 3-2 without him, with wins over the Hornets (twice) and Suns and losses to the Grizzlies and Rockets.
Since returning from the sore left heel in late February, Johnson is averaging 13.3 points on 42.5 percent shooting in 10 games.
