It's called "player rendering," a photo shoot to make players look more realistic in NBA 2K. So they pose with a variety of game faces for the camera.
On Monday, Nets players sat --or rather stood-- for "player rendering" in Phoenix. It's for the upcoming edition of NBA 2K "executive produced by Jay-Z." Joe Johnson spoke afterward about the process, his own forays into 2K's franchise mode, and a basketball gaming history that began with Double Dribble.
Johnson noted that so far this season, the Nets have won two NBA championships and are going for "three-peat" in his game experience.
