The Nets will team up with Joe Johnson and DeleteBloodCancer.org for a bone marrow donor drive at Friday's game vs. Dallas at Barclays Center.
Everyone entering the arena will receive a sports bag featuring the Delete Blood Cancer logo with the words "Join The Team."
Volunteers throughout the arena will be registering new donors by having fans sign up and allowing their cheeks to be swabbed.
A public service announcement featuring Delete Blood Cancer spokesman and Joe Johnson, whose mother is battling multiple myeloma — a cancer of bone marrow plasma cells — will be played on the big screen at halftime.
