Bojan Bogdanovic foul-shooting reaches new heights

Fenerbahce

Bojan Bogdanovic didn't have such a great shooting night in Turkey Monday night, at least when guarded. In a Turkish League matchup, he scored only 13 points has Fenerbahce defeated Mersin, 81-77. He was a mere 3-of-10, well off his latest pace, missing four of his five three pointers. But he went to the line six times in 24 minutes, and therein lies a story.

In the last month --seven games in the Turkish League and Euroleague-- the 6'8" Bogdanovic has gone to the line 52 times, about seven a game, and made 51 of his free throws. That's 98.1 percent. In that streak, he made 36 straight before missing in a Euroleague contest over the weekend. Earlier in the season, Bogdanovic was making "only" about 80 percent of his shots, but a little more than a month ago, he essentially stopped missing.

Expect the Nets to make a push to get him to Brooklyn next season, although as noted previously, there are financial hurdles. The Nets have been receiving trade inquiries about the Croatian, according to a source who spoke with league sources at All-Star Weekend.
