Adam Silver, the incoming NBA commissioner, told reporters Saturday that both the Nets and Knicks have submitted applications to host the 2015 NBA All-Star Game and Weekend, and that it's likely that the game will be held at Atlantic and Flatbush or Seventh and 33rd.
"I think Commissioner Silver is going to have a lot of fun with those applications. I asked him to send me a postcard to tell me how they go," said David Stern.
Earlier today, Mitch Lawrence wrote how important it is for James Dolan to beat Mikhail Prokhorov for the All-Star selection. "Jim is going to want it first, no question" said a person familiar with the thinking of Garden boss James Dolan. "He wants it before the Nets get it."
