Talking with Jazz beat writers after he led Utah to a win over Minnesota, Paul Millsap said he's unaware of the trade rumors linking him to the Nets.
"I don't know what's going to happen in the future," Millsap said. "I can't determine that. I'm just going to try and continue to win games and see what happens."
Various reports have the Nets interested in Millsap who's a free agent come July 1. Conventional wisdom is that the Jazz would rather trade him than have him leave in the off-season for nothing. But after Millsap scored 21 points Wednesday, Jazz coach Ty Corbin left little doubt that he'd want to keep the 6'8" power forward.
"He's a great guy to have on the team," Corbin said. "He's a great person off the floor first of all. He's a hard worker and a great teammate."
