Marc Spears: Kris Humphries, Ben Gordon trade talks have 'stalled'

Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports noted in his weekly power rankings piece that the trade talks between the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Bobcats, involving Kris Humphries and Ben Gordon, have "stalled."

He writes:

Trade talks regarding Brooklyn forward Kris Humphries to Charlotte for guard Ben Gordon are at a standstill, a source said. Charlotte had interest in Humphries as a free agent last summer.

"Stalled" is completely different from "shelved," which means that while nothing seems imminent, the conversation should continue up until the trade deadline.

Also worth noting, Spears has the Nets at 11th on his latest power rankings, which is exactly where he had them last week.
