Billy King hasn't talked a lot since he was interviewed by Sarah Kustok on November 26. Since then, the Nets have begun to turn things around as injured players return, Jason Kidd spilled the most expensive drink ever served at Barclays Center and, of course, the Nets "re-assigned" Lawrence Frank to writing daily reports.
King did speak Tuesday to Steve Bulpett of the Boston Herald about the "re-assignment" and hinted that there's things that haven't come out yet.
Nets GM Billy King, asked about LFrank "reassignment," tells Herald tonight, "Knowing the inside, we did what we had to do."

King, of course, would have had to sign off on any move that is likely to cost the team millions in a buyout, as would Mikhail Prokhorov, or his No. 2, Dmitry Razumov. Both sides are reportedly lawyering up for buyout negotiations. As Bulpett notes in another tweet, Frank's name still appears on the Nets game notes and their front office directory.
