It's bad, really bad. But is it bad enough to start thinking about a rebuild? Not yet. However, it is bad enough to review what the Nets have if they wanted to either make big changes this season ... or dare we say it go with the "R" word.

Rick Carlisle has a unique perspective on Coach Jason Kidd. In 2002, he was an assistant In Indiana under new coach Larry Bird when the Pacers started slowly ... and he was the head coach in Dallas when Kidd was the point guard of a title team.

Andrei Kirilenko is still recovering from last week's epidural, which offers relief but takes 10 to 12 days to wear off. So his return is still a few days away. Whenever he's back, it will be a welcome relief. He brings a lot the Nets are missing.
