Injury Update: Brook Lopez, Andrei Kirilenko are OUT against the Bobcats; Jason Terry a GTD

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

It's officially official. Brook Lopez (ankle) and Andrei Kirilenko (back) are both out against the Charlotte Bobcats tonight, according to the Nets.

Lopez has missed the Nets' last two games, and while he said that he's "good enough to play," it doesn't seem as if the Nets are ready to rush him back. The Nets are 0-2 without Lopez in the lineup this year.

Kirilenko will miss his seventh game of the season with back spasms. Again, this injury is something that AK-47 has dealt with for some time now and, again, you have to think that they're going to take all the precautionary measures in getting him back into the lineup.

Other odds and ends, Jason Terry is going to be a game-time decision with a bruised knee. So far, Terry has yet to miss a game this season, and there's no indication that the injury sounds all that serious. Deron Williams, as of now, is expected to play and start. Williams has missed the Nets' last two games with an ankle injury.

For the Bobcats, as of this writing Al Jefferson (ankle) is "unlikely" to play, according to head coach Steve Clifford. Jefferson has played in just four games for the Bobcats this season.
