J. Period, the Brooklyn-based Mixtape DJ, remixer and hip-hop producer, produced the Nets new introduction video that debuted Friday night at the Heat game.
J. Period's video last year, built around John Forte's "Brooklyn: Something to Lean On," showed Nets players arriving at Barclays Center, their new home. This year, it's about motivation and preparation as players are shown working out, from Deron Williams lifting weights to Mason Plumlee taking out his frustrations with a sledge hammer. But the highlight is, as expected, Kevin Garnett, whose scowl is positively demonic.
