Andrei Kirilenko officially out as the mystery of who will coach remains

Brooklyn Nets/Ben Couch

Andrei Kirilenko made it official Wednesday morning: he needs a 5-on-5 practice before he will be ready to play.  The Nets are practicing tomorrow back in the New York area before playing the Heat on Friday.

While that's been cleared up, the mystery of who will fill in for the suspended Jason Kidd sorta remains.  Kidd, as has become his style, wouldn't talk about it.

Meanwhile, Paul Pierce said his toe, hurt in the Heat game, is still bothering him.

As the game got closer, Joe Johnson made it clear he's excited.
