Jason Terry was back on the court Friday and happy about it.
"I've never had lower-extremity injuries in 14 years, so this is all new to me," he said. "But it's pushed me. It's made me frustrated at times. We've been at a great pace and now I'm ready to get out here in action with my teammates, not just vocally but I'm in the fight physically."
Terry had knee surgery after the season and has slowly returned. He expects to play in the Nets last two games vs. the Celtics next Wednesday and the Heat two days later.
No such confidence or timetable from Deron WIlliams who saw limited practice and remains "day-to-day." D-WIll has said he wants to play vs. the Cavs on October 30, but there's limited practices left. Toko Shengelia, who hopes to play before Opening Night, saw limited practice as well. Andrei Kirilenko (back spasms) and Tyshawn Taylor (sprained ankle) continued to rest. There were no updates on their timetable to return.
