Pierce, Kirilenko, Williams all out vs. 76ers

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Paul Pierce won't be in the lineup Monday night vs. the Sixers in Philadelphia. He's physically fine but is sitting out of routine maintenance reports Jason KiddAlan Anderson will start in his place.

That means the Nets will be without Pierce, Deron Williams, Andrei Kirilenko, Tyshawn Taylor, Tornike Shengelia, Jason Terry, Jorge Gutierrez will all sit. Kirilenko, suffering from back spasms, didn't travel. D-Will did.

Kevin Garnett will play but left the minutes to his coach.

Garnett also spoke about how much he likes having Reggie Evans as a teammate

The only player offering a prognosis on his return was Taylor, still in in a walking boot.

As for yesterday's dust-up between Mirza Teletovic and Andray Blatche, all seems to be forgiven.

Meanwhile, Garnett reacted to the NBA using him in an instructional video describing illegal picks. "Because I'm the best pick-setter in the league. I understand that," he said.
