Bojan Bogdanovic, fresh from a 19-point performance against the Thunder last weekend, scored 22 points in 21 minutes Saturday and a revamped Fenerbahce crushed a Turkish League rival, 100-75, in the opening day of league play.
Bogdanovic, who was one of the stars of FIBA Eurobasket, shot 10-of-15, including 2-of-5 from deep. He finished with one rebound and two assists. The 6'8" swingman led Fener despite playing only half the game.
Earlier in the week, Bogdanovic disputed reports that he turned down an extension from Fener, Turkey's leading team, saying that the team didn't even offer him an extension. He will become a free agent next July when the Nets will likely be competing with top European teams for his services. F.C. Barcelona is expected to be among the teams making a bid for the 24-year-old.
