Without Toko Shengelia and Tyshawn Taylor, Armor go down again

Springfield Armor

in their game in a week without Toko Shengelia or Tyshawn Taylor, the Springfield Armor lost once again, although a couple of Milton Lee pick-ups did well. The Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder affiliate, beat the Armor, 107-100, at the Mass Mutual Center.

The Armor front court of James Mays (16 and 14), Dennis Horner (17 and 11) and Willie Reed (11 and 8) combined for 44 points and 33 rebounds. The Armor got big contributions from Ramone Moore, the former Temple standout who missed a couple of games when the two Nets were assigned to Springfield. He finished with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting, including 4-of-6 from downtown. Ben Uzoh, operating against another former Net, Chris Quinn, finished with a double-double, 10 points and 10 assists.

Rasual Butler, in his latest comeback attempt, finished with 24, Quinn with 15. At game's end, Reed had to be kept away from Travis Hyman of the 66ers, who blocked nine shots. The two had been involved in an altercation in the fourth quarter.
