As a reporter for FIBA Europe wrote Wednesday, "No team that has Teletovic is out of contention until the final buzzer sounds." After Tornike Shengelia hit a two to tie the score with 5:52 left in the fourth, Teletovic went on a tear, first hitting a three to give Bosnia the lead at 88-85. With Bosnia down by one with 25 seconds left, the 6'9" forward hit another three, rebounded a Georgian miss and made two free throws with nine seconds on the clock. Shengelia finished with 17 points and six rebounds.
The Nets two Euro-Stash were also involved in close games. Croatia remained undefeated as they beat a Mike Fratello-coached Ukraine, 84-80. Ilkan Karaman played only 17 minutes in a one-point loss to Italy. He finished with six points and three reboounds.
