Getting What It All Means
Jay-Z didn't just introduce the Nets new uniform Friday night. He didn't just open Barclays Center. He marked an occasion when the Brooklyn Nets arrived on so many different levels. We offer a (very tired) fan's appreciation of September 28.

Sale of Brooklyn Nets uniform goes live
Two hours after the uniform debut, midnight Saturday, the NBA Store opened access to the sale of Nets road and away uniforms. Fans who attended the Jay-Z concert were able to purchase them at the new Nets Store within the Barclays Center.

Jay-Z reveals new uniform on stage
As expected, the Nets' new jerseys were revealed on stage at Jay-Z's concert to open Barclays Center on Friday night. The MC and minority owner took the stage wearing a black road jersey (No. 4) for the first of his eight concerts to open the arena.

Nets home uniforms leaked in NBA2K13?
We won't know until Jay-Z's concert Friday night what the Nets new uniforms will look like, but the Jay-Z produced NBA2K13, streamed Wednesday, seems to give it all away. Like the road uni leaked last week, the home uni is classic, black-and-white.

Are These the Nets' New Uniforms?
The roll-out of the Nets new uniform gets curiouser and curiouser. First there was the figurine of Deron Williams in a home Nets uniform that looked a lot like what Jay-Z has said he wants for the Nets: Yankee-like in its classic simplicity.

Uniform Reveal on Opening Night?
The Nets uniforms will be unveiled Opening Night of the Barclays Center, the Nets announced Tuesday. They didn't give any further details but rumors persist of a tie-in between the unveiling and Jay-Z taking the stage that night.
