Jay-Z Gets Ready To Open Barclays Center

Barclays Center has seen its ribbon-cutting and its first open house. Now it's time for Opening Night with Jay-Z on Friday night. Jay-Z toured the arena on whose board he sits, getting comfortable with the digs he helped get built, at one point lying on the Nets logo.

Meanwhile, the New York Times tries to break down the team's logo(s) in "A Brooklyn Nets Style Guide," taking the logo part and breaking down the history and significance of every element in the design, quoting the lyrics of Jay-Z in explanation.
