It's been a good year for the sons of Nets assistant coaches. Popeye Jones' son, Seth, is seen as a top three pick in the 2013 NHL Draft and could go overall No. 1. Now, there's word that Doug Overton's son, Miles, has agreed to join the Wake Forest Demon Deacons next season. Overton, who plays for St. Joe's Prep in Philadelphia, is a Top 100 player in the class of 2013.
Like Seth Jones, Miles Overton is 6'3" but unlike the younger Jones, Overton is a shooting guard rather than a hockey defenseman. Jones plays in the Western Hockey League with the Portland Winterhawks. Both their dads played 11 years in the NBA.
