Over the past two weeks, the Nets have been arriving at PNY Center in dribs and drabs, vets and newcomers. By Monday, all but the two Europeans, Mirza Teletovic and Toko Shengelia, had spent time at the informal workouts Deron Williams is organizing.
It's bred a feeling, more a contagion, that the Nets can do something special. D-Will told David Aldrige last week that he's "Very excited. Very excited. We had a lot of guys in today, doing a lot of testing and start working out together as a team."
And not just this season. "We have a team, we have a core group in place, and every body's locked in pretty much for at least the next four years. We'll see what we can do in these next four years ... We have no excuses."
