Billy King has said the Nets are "pretty much done," feeling it's time to digest what they've already done before moving to fill the 14th and possibly 15th positions on the roster. He and Avery Johnson aren't even in the country, having traveled to London to watch Deron Williams and Team USA. Still, there are names out there that keep circulating as possibilities. One is Josh Howard, the 6'6" swingman who played his best ball for Avery Johnson in Dallas.
Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld reports that the Nets remain in the mix for Howard who may be "nearing a decision." Other teams in the mix include the Jazz, for whom he averaged 8.7 points and 3.7 rebounds last season; the Pacers, Warriors and Knicks. Howard, 32, has been troubled by a series of injuries the last several years.
