DIME Magazine writes this month about Joe Johnson's sneaker collection. JJ boasts 1,000 pairs of sneakers, which in and of itself is special, but it's where and how he keeps them that really is eye-popping, jaw-dropping. Johnson has a "sneaker vault", which only he can enter -- only his fingerprints on an entry pad can unlock the door.

It's Johnson's private lair, equipped with a bed, a hoop, mirrored walls and lots and lots of space. "It’s big enough for me and probably about six or seven of my friends," says Johnson. "We all go in there and we shoot on the goal that I got hanging up in there. We might bet for pushups or you gotta go jump in the pool when it’s ice cold outside."
