A team executive on Saturday noted that the Nets were "back to normal" after the official end of the Dwightmare, but with Brooklyn now only weeks away and eight new players on the roster, what exactly is "normal?"
John Schuhmann thinks he knows. "Few teams can match a starting lineup of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries and Brook Lopez., " he writes. Schuhmann adds that the focus will now move from Dwight Howard to Lopez. Deron Williams isn't concerned about his center.
"I think Brook is a great piece to have," Williams said. "He’s been injured. He’s been on teams that don’t get much attention. I know he’s looking forward to having a big year."
