HoopsWorld ranks the top free agent bargains so far and calls Mirza Teletovic the fifth best bargain and not just because he reportedly gave up $2 million a year just to help the Nets go after Dwight Howard.
Writes Joel Brigham, "Teletovic has been one of the stars of the Euroleague the last couple of seasons, averaging 22 points and 6 rebounds per game last season, and now he’ll bring that talent to Brooklyn for what really amounts to a pretty paltry sum. We don’t know yet how his game will translate to the NBA, but for $3 million a season, I’ll call that a fair gamble."
No word if Teletovic will join other free agents whenever the Nets have their big press conference, but if they do, the 6'9" Bosnian will no doubt be cheered. He's expected to sign his contract on Wednesday.
