In what may or may not be related news, Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Nets and Knicks, not the Heat, are in the lead position for Marcus Camby. The 16-year veteran is an unrestricted free agent who the Rockets would like to package in a sign-and-trade.
"New York and Brooklyn are frontrunners in sign-and-trade talks to acquire Houston's Marcus Camby, league sources tell Y!," tweeted Woj (in between tweets on Dwight Howard). Frank Isola of the Daily News reports, "Knicks met with free agent Marcus Camby today in Houston while the Brooklyn Nets spoke to the veteran center via conference call."
