The GM of Fenerbahce Ulker in Turkey confirmed to a local sports site that Bojan Bogdanovic, the Nets second round pick in 2011, will be staying with Fener next season.
Kemal Dincer, Fenerbahce's GM, talked with Basketfaul about the personnel market of the Turkish team and noted, "Bojan Bogdanovic will stay with us next season." He also denied a report that Jordan Farmar would join Fener after his buyout from the Hawks, expected later this week.
Tim Bontemps had reported last week that the 6'8" Bogdanovic's agent had said it was unlikely Fener would let their best player go. Bogdanovic's contract has no "NBA out" until after next season, when Bogdanovic will be 24. The Nets had hoped to bring him over this summer and had talks with both Bogdanovic and Fener.
