Mirza Teletovic has confirmed that he's reached a verbal agreement to join the Nets this season. He didn't address how much money he will be paid, nor the amount of his buyout from Caja Laboral. But the 6'9" forward said the term of the deal is three years. Teletovic reiterated that what's most important him is minutes not money, adding that he's happy to be joining such an "ambitious" franchise.
"[Brooklyn] is an ambitious club this summer. It will experience many changes. It will also be a big change for me, but now it's time to go ahead and fulfill my dream," said Teletovic, who is in Jablanica, Bosnia, his hometown."I played many years in Europe, in the [Spanish] National League on stronger and stronger clubs, so I think I am ready also for the NBA."
