The Nets are likely to have several minimum contracts this fall, and a couple or more of them could come off their summer league roster, an accumulation of Nets draft picks, former lottery picks, D-League All-Stars, international players local products and MarShon Brooks.
Tim Bontemps looks at who's auditioning and who have the best chance of getting call-backs for training camp. Julian Wright, who some have called the D-League's top player at the end of last season, is one. A slimmed down Al Thornton is another.
Bontemps, who'll cover the games in Orlando starting Monday, thinks the most fascinating invite is second round pick Toko Shengelia and the most fun thing to watch will be the backcourt pairing of Brooks and Tyshawn Taylor.
