Right after he returned from New York earlier this month, Reggie Evans talked with his hometown paper in Pensacola about his impressions of Brooklyn where he toured Barclays Center and nearby neighborhoods.
"Who doesn’t want to play in New York? Once you walk outside, you can smell basketball, it screams basketball," said Evans. "It’s basketball heaven up there. You drive around the neighborhoods and see basketball courts everywhere. I can’t wait. It’s going to be great to play in Brooklyn."
Evans said he had expected to return to the Clippers. "I assumed I was going back to L.A. But everything just worked out."
