On Tuesday, C.J. Watson became the latest Brooklyn Nets player to meet the media. The back-up point guard accepted the veteran's minimum to come, so the Nets clearly sold him on the opportunity. Watson said he got calls from Avery Johnson and Deron Williams, whom he called the best point guard in the league.

"I played with Deron before in 2002 with USA during college, so it was big of him to call and express his interest," Watson said. "And that was probably the deciding factor."
