Mike Prada of SB Nation ranks all 52 drafted players who participated in the NBA's two summer league. At the top of the list is the Blazers Damian Lillard (taken with the Nets pick). The two picks the Nets purchased on Draft Night, Tyshawn Taylor and Toko Shengelia, were both ranked higher than they where they were picked.
Taylor, taken at #41, is ranked at #22. Prada writes, "Taylor was often erratic and struggled to generate many assists. But he also found a way to make plays, and defensively, he was outstanding. Something tells me he'll fit in quite well with Avery Johnson's fiery personality." Among those ranked below Taylor, Thomas Robinson of the Kings and Taylor's teammate at Kansas. Robinson shot 34.4% in Las Vegas.
Down at the bottom of the list is Shengelia, taken at #54. It's because he's ranked that low. Prada explains, "I forgot to rank Tornike Shengelia, who played decently for the Nets in Orlando. Let's put him 33rd just for the heck of it."
