In Europe, exhibition games are called "friendlies." This week, two members of the Nets, Deron Williams and Mirza Teletovic, and two draft picks, Bojan Bogdanovic and Ilkan Karaman, will be playing a total of eight "friendlies" in Spain, Italy, Bulgaria and Croatia.
Teletovic and Karaman are preparing for the FIBA Eurobasket Qualifying Tournament which takes place late in August. Toko Shengelia's Georgia is also in the Qualifying Tournament, but the Georgians aren't playing this week and Shengelia is in New Jersey working out at PNY Center and waiting to ink his contract.

July 22 - 24 - Team USA, including Deron Williams, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Dream Team with exhibition games in Barcelona, site of the 1992 Olympics. USA defeated Argentina (Manu Ginobili, Luis Scola, Andres Nocioni) Sunday and will battle Spain (Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol and Jose Calderon) Tuesday.
July 24 - 26 - The Nets second round pick, Ilkan Karaman, will play for Team Turkey in friendlies against Bulgaria Tuesday; Ukraine Wednesday and Poland Thursday. The games are part of the 2012 European Basketball Tour Sofia at the new Arena Armeec in Sofia, Bulgaria. The 6'10", 236-pound Karaman is Turkey's power forward.
July 25 - 27 - Bosnia's national team participates in the annual Torneo Città di Trento exhibition series in northern Italy. Mirza Teletovic is captain of Team Bosnia, who will face off against Finland Wednesday; Montenegro Thursday and Italy (Danilo Gallinari) Friday.
July 26 - Croatia's National Team, featuring Bojan Bogdanovic, is not in the Olympics or the Eurobasket Qualifying Tournament, but it will play 15 "friendly" games this summer, starting Thursday vs Switzerland's National Team.
July 27 - August 12 - 2012 Summer Olympics in London. First mens' basketball game is against France at. 9:30 a.m. ET (2:30 p.m. local) next Sunday.
