Dwight Howard told Adrian Wojnarowski that he would re-sign with only team and although he declined to identify the team, it was clear he was referring to your Brooklyn Nets.

"There’s only one team on my list and if I don’t get traded there, I'll play the season out and explore my free agency after that," said Howard. Woj quoted "multiple league sources" that the team is the Nets. The Nets are believed to be in talks with the Magic, but there's no indication of progress. Reports also have Orlando discussing a possible deal with Houston and the Lakers. Howard's interview would seem to be a warning to those teams not to think he will re-sign with them, making it riskier for them to provide major assets to the Magic in a deal.

Howard also denied to both Woj and Jared Rudolph an ESPN report that he had told people Orlando officials had "blackmailed" him into forgoing the early termination option on his contract March 15, a decision that ultimately cost him his free agency this summer. "I never used the word blackmail in reference to any of my dealings with the Magic," Howard told Woj. "I never said that. It’s defamatory and it’s inaccurate."
