Add another name to the speculation on who the Nets will sign as their back-up to Brook Lopez. After Stefan Bondy reported Tuesday morning that the Nets are looking at Nazr Mohammed, David Aldridge tweeted that Ryan Hollins, most recently with the Celtics, is also being considered. The Clippers are interested in the 27-year-old 7-footer as well.
The Nets have 12 players either under contract or committed: Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, Brook Lopez, Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, Mirza Teletovic, Reggie Evans, Marshon Brooks, Jerry Stackhouse, Keith Bogans, C. J. Watson and Tyshawn Taylor. Signing a back-up center would likely leave only one roster spot open. There was a report Monday that the Nets could bring Damion James back.
