Insider: NO Nets Workout for MKG

While calling it a "nice story," a league source tells NetsDaily that reports out of Chicago that the Nets will work out long time Nets fan Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are "not true ... We are not working out MKG."

Kidd-Gilchrist grew up and played high school ball in New Jersey before heading off to the University of Kentucky where he won the NCAA championship back in March. The Charlotte Observer and bloggers had reported Friday that MKG was working out for the team out of loyalty to the franchise. The Nets have the #57 pick and Kidd-Gilchrist isn't expected to last past #5.
