How high a pick do the Nets think they'll be able to get in the Draft? Sounds like late teens, early 20's. On Wednesday, they were one of four teams that interviewed Kentucky guard Marquis Teague, a likely mid-first round pick. The others were Miami, Philadelphia and Milwaukee. Teague is the brother of Jeff Teague, the Hawks guard.

Marquis Teague, 19, says, "I’m hearing I’m anywhere from 15 to 20." Mock drafts posted before the Pre-Draft Combine have him at #20 (ESPN and Draft Express) and #25 (NBADraft.net). Interviews, of course, are only one measure of interest. Individual workouts don't start till next week, for example. But as Avery Johnson said Thursday, "We are preparing like we are still going to be in the first round."
