Jason Kidd once again told reporters that once Deron Williams makes his decision, he will start thinking seriously about his own destination next year and once again said that destination could be Brooklyn.
"He'll make a decision, hopefully soon, and then everything else will fall into place after that," Kidd told reporters at a golf tournament on Long Island. "I’ll spend some time with him playing some golf this week and we’ll see what happens. He’s a franchise player, he’s a guy who can carry a team, he can fill up the stat sheet and he knows how to win.’’
Kidd admits he hasn't yet spoken seriously with his agent, Jeff Schwartz, about his plans. Schwartz represents both Kidd and Williams. Meanwhile in Dallas, Maverick beat writers remain convinced that Williams is headed there, with one suggesting that even with Williams, the Nets are "probably a 25-30 win team" next season.
