The first Nets team to play as the Brooklyn Nets will take the court July 9 in the Orlando Pro Summer League at 11 a.m. Brooklyn plays the Magic summer league team in the first of four games that Monday. The Magic will host the league at the team's practice court at Amway Center for five consecutive days. The 20-game event will also feature the Celtics, 76ers, Jazz, Thunder, Pacers and Pistons.
So far, three players from this year's team --Marshon Brooks, Jordan Williams and Dennis Horner-- plus Jeff Foote of the Springfield Armor are confirmed to play. Whoever the Nets take in the June 28 Draft plus undrafted players and invitees from the team's free agent mini-camp will fill out the roster. Games are closed to the public but have been live streamed in the past.
