Deron Williams took the opportunity of having so many beat writers in one place to tamp down speculation of where he's going to play next season, saying he has decided nothing and denying some reports. Williams said he's no closer to a decision than he was when the season ended.

He did say that he is meeting Tuesday with his agent, Jeff Schwartz, and expects to make his decision by July 1, the first day teams can speak to free agents.

Among other points he made, as tweeted by Fred Kerber, Andy Vasquez, Colin Stephenson and Alex Raskin...

--He doesn't have another home to go to now, which is why he's continuing to train at the Nets facility.

--His brother, contrary to reports, is not enrolling in a New York prep school.

--People shouldn't read too much into his trip to Russia: "I've never been there before."

--He is traveling to Dallas later this week, but people shouldn't read into that, either.

"I want to reiterate, I don't know what I'm doing next year, still," Williams said. "Nobody does but me. Not even my mom... I just hate that people think they know where I’m going because I don’t know where I’m going, so there’s no way for them to know"
