The Post's Brooklyn reporter, Rich Calder, writes that he's privy to some of the details of the Nets new uniform, although they have been telegraphed by the team and its executives. Calder writes that the uniforms will have "BROOKLYN" (in capital letters) on both the home and away uniforms. Only the Knicks and Mavericks have their city's name on both.
The black and white motif will continue with the Nets wearing white with black trim at Barclays Center and black with white trim on the road. He also writes that the Nets' shield logo will appear on the left side of the uniform shorts. Calder notes the uniforms will not be revealed until close to when the Nets start playing in Brooklyn.
Meanwhile, Paul Lukas of Uni-Watch offers his critique of the logos, noting that he lives close to the arena and "I get sick to my stomach just thinking about it."
